THE FISHERS
The Fishers Missions Ministry stands upon two priority statements of Jesus in which we purpose to invest our time, money and energy :
Jesus told us to learn how to love God, love others and love ourselves in what we call the Great Commandment.
Jesus answered by saying, “Love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind. This is the greatest and most important commandment. The second is like it: Love your neighbor as yourself. All the Law and the Prophets depend on these two commandments. (Matt. 22:37-40)
Jesus told us to win, connect, disciple and send out leaders who are immersed in all aspects of the Trinity in the Great Commission.
Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age. (Matthew 28:19-20)
The Fishers are committed to engaging in mission outreach locally, nationally and globally as we follow the instruction in these two priority statements.
THE CHARGE TO GO, GIVE AND PRAY
We are all called to participate in the Great Commission. Whether you Go, Give and/or Pray your position in our efforts are greatly appreciated.

DOMMESTIC MISSIONS/OUTREACH
Evangelism is the responsibility of every believer. However it does not mean that we should not create a special effort to reach the masses. This ministry has the focus of impacting the populations of nursing homes, prisons, and the larger community with the message and hope of Christ.
ANGEL TREE: The Holiday Season is the season of giving. At World Victory we are committed to touch the lives of young people in our community to ensure that they have memorable Christmas. The support we give ranges from food to toys to winter coats; all of which brings smiles to both young faces and their parents the same.
PARTNERSHIP with NC AFRICAN SERVIES COALITION: (An immigrant and refugee naturalization support agency.) Families in transition from foreign lands face some of the steepest of odds for success. The collaborative aims to undergird the family during this critical season of seeking naturalization in the United States.
CLOTHING MINISTRY: At select times throughout the year we are privileged to have an abundance of new children’s clothing items, many of the people we serve in the capacity would not likely have access to such name brand items. Gratefully, we are able to provide assistance to families through this benevolent ministry.
PRISON MINISTRY: WVICC Prison Ministry is a ministry standing on the Great Commission of Jesus Christ; Matthew 25:36; Naked, and ye clothed me: I was in prison, and ye came unto me. The Prison Ministry harkens unto the call and the need of the incarcerated. Those that are low in spirit, down trodden and seeking conversion and salvation. We provide spiritual guidance, hope fo the hopeless, and salvation for the lost. The ministry provides reentry assistance to those coming back into society.
CITY HELP: City Help of the Triad is a Christ-centered group of churches seeking to glorify God by bringing followers of Jesus together across economic, racial, ethnic, and denominational lines. We believe when we unite as God has called us to be the Church, we can defeat the strongholds in our community and deliver people in our community. God is calling us to change the status of people in our marginalized communities.
HOT DISH FOR HOPE: “Hot Dish and Hope” on Greene Street is a ministry designed to reduce hunger in the Greensboro / Guilford County area. Objectives of the ministry are (1)to serve others by offering meals to the needy and /or homeless in our community, at the same time offering worship opportunity and fellowship with a sense of caring. (2) Additionally, the ministry is to build a collaborative partnership among churches through participation in a shared community outreach ministry. (3) And to provide a family friendly opportunity for enhancing to growth of disciples of the body of Christ through a local community project.
LIFE GROUPS:
NURSING HOME MINISTRY: Our Nursing Home Ministry is an extension of the ideologies, doctrines and core values of WVICC. We are purposed to serve residents that are not afforded the opportunity to attend services at their perspective churches as well as those without churches. . This ministry is a tool to evangelize the residents, their families, visitor and even the staff. We teach, preach, visit the bed ridden and provide comfort to those that are transitioning to glory. We also offer opportunities to church members that would like to be a blessing to the older saints.
